Hi there! Today I bring another post related to my recent California trip. What I have to say? Las Vegas is amazing. I hadn't had an exact idea of what to spect. I knew that the hotels offer shows on the streets and I thought that that had to be very cool. However, I was not prepared. Las Vegas is unbelievable, I seriously recommend going if you are visiting Los Angeles or California, even though is a five hours drive from LAX (but totally worthy!).

What to spect
This city is busy year-round, being most crowded on weekends (seriously crowded).
As I mentioned, Las Vegas is amazing, and with that I mean that is a stunning, huge, living spectacle. If you like visiting busy cities with a lot of night-life, this trip is for you. As you may be thinking, the hotels are very, very big. That's why it's important to be aware of how much you have to walk and how long is going to take to explore the places.
The best thing you can do if you are staying at a hotel that is not specifically at the city centre is driving and parking for free at these hotels:
Venetian-Palazzo
Tropicana
Treasure Island
You can also use the Monorail system to move around the city or Uber. We weren't aware of this so we toke several expensive taxis.

Where to stay
If your budget can't afford a luxurious hotel, don't worry... there's a lot of options. We stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel and it was very good. It's very familiar and quieter the rest of the hotels, which can be a little bit too chaotic.
Even though this accommodation is not at the Downtown; is a ten to twenty minutes drive (depending on the traffic) and still comfortable to move around the city.
If you are interested in visiting the highest point in Las Vegas, the Stratosphere Tower, which is basically an amusement park on a 100 floor, you can park for free at the hotel and enjoy the fantastic view of Las Vegas. They charged you for entering the observatory and per game you'd like to try, if you dare, of course. You can also try SkyJump.

Where to go
If you are staying at Las Vegas you need to visit the top hotels and be surprised by its beauty and majesty. As I said, be prepared to walk a lot to explore the hotels (even if you are not deeply exploring them is going to take a while just to find the exit).
To walk from one to other simply you can use the bridges that connect the hotels, find them in Las Vegas Boulevard.
This is the ultimate list and a brief note about each one:
The Bellagio: the Lake Como town of Bellagio in Italy, this hotel is majestic. Its street show was one of my favourites, the dancing fountains, featuring different epic songs every 15/30 minutes (you can watch it from 3 pm).

The Mirage: I have a special feeling for this one, cause it was the first one I visited, the one where a have fine and rare dinner and the one where I watched for the very first time a Cirque Du Soleil spectacle… The Beatles Love. At night, you can watch the spectacular Volcano.
The Venetian: Okay, It is unbelievable, you just can't miss this one.
París: The Eiffel Tower and the Arch of Triumph is amazing. I think I don't have enough adjectives to describe all these hotels so let's just say that you have to go.
Caesars Palace: not as great as I expected, but cool too. I think is a must-see because of its popularity, you probably have seen it in a movie.
New York-New York: A miss this one and I'm really sad about it. We ran out of time but it's on the top list and it's a blast. This hotel is surrounded by a roller-coaster (yes, a ROLLER-COASTER) and has a lady liberty replica.
Luxor: I miss this one too! A total shame! That's why you really need a well-plan itinerary cause it's easy to miss stuff. Basically, this hotel is built like a pyramid and it's totally cool too. The problem is that is located a little bit far from the rest; that's why you may not be able to get here by walking if you are at the main downtown area.
Freemont Street: The amazing street that has a roof and a zip line.
For moving around the city, you can use the list of the places that I created on Google Maps, clicking here.

What to do
Las Vegas offers an incredibly large list of activities including almost anything you would like to do (seriously, just search and check out if it is possible in Las Vegas whatever you have in mind). From driving Ferraris to swimming with sharks (sorry is just for certified divers, but if you are one of those here you are: http://www.sharkreef.com/visitor/dive-with-sharks.aspx); everything is possible in Las Vegas.
My parents tried out driving a Ferrari in SpeedVegas and for them, it was a dream come true. It cost around 100 USD per lap and they also offer video recording (60 USD). The coaches are amazing,
You can book here https://speedvegas.com/en/.
Besides, I made this list with other few things to do:
Watching dolphins at The Mirage (at the evenings)
Visiting the Shark Reef (even if you are not diving with them)
Going to the M&M World (open only in the morning)
Shopping at the Las Vegas Premium OutletsMeeting flamingos at Hotel Flamingo
Riding the world tallest High Roller
And of course playing at the Casinos if you are at least 21 (which sadly, I wasn't)
Visit the Neon Museum or the Mob Museum
Get to know a chapel (and getting married or not)
That's all for today! XOXO
