Hi there! We all know what is currently happening and I could not keep posting about travel when we all know it’s not an option now and we’ve been told to stay home.
That’s why I was thinking about interesting topics and things to recommend you to do to get inspiration in these times of agitation.
Make a reading list
I know it sounds predictable, but I had to include this. You can make a reading list and use GoodRead to organize your reading life. Set a time goal per day; like 30 minutes, which it’s optimum. If you are looking for motivation, watch this amazing video and find out why 30 minutes of lecture per day it’s perfect for reading more books per year.
I'm currently reading The Map of Salt and Stars and so far so good!
You can check my Pinterest board about books here.
Find a new hobby
Do you have something you always wanted to try out? Now is the time. When was the last time you try a new recipe? What about that craft you saw once on Pinterest? It's a perfect moment to search on Pinterest and find new things to do or just watch some youtube tutorials.

Organize new projects
We all know that it's not possible to travel right now. But what about then? Start thinking on your next destination, click here to see my Pinterest board called "Christmas Cities".
Have you thought about re-decor a room in your house?
What about that dream business you’ve never started?
It’s time to organize projects, small ones and bigger ones. Little tasks like tidying up your house and huge life projects.
Schedule your day
A good idea for nowadays is to schedule what you're going to do every day. No matter if you have to work… schedule breakfast, reading time, exercise time, family time (aka when work is over). The reason why is that staying at home is not an easy task, and keeping a routine helps you to feel organised and avoid feeling overwhelmed. Stop listening to the news all the time and concentrate on things that help you to feel well, like listening to music while working.
Being outside is also a good idea. If you have a patio, enjoy it. If you don't, go to somewhere else, like a big public park. The virus cannot pass to you if you are one meter apart from people.

Learn something new
Watch Ted Talks, read books about a topic that always interested you but you'd never learnt. Getting into a need area is easier with Ted Talks, because scientists and experts explain complex concepts in a didactic and simpler way.
Personally, the book The Theory of Everything has been on my reading list since I long time, and my idea is to simply learn about Physics and the Universe, cause... why not?
Learn a language
It´s the perfect time to set some high goals and start learning that language you were passionate about. I'm currently working on cool projects related to this topic and I'm trying to decide which media (video, pdf, post, etc.) is the best… you can tell what do you think in the comments!
I'll be uploading a post about all the Spanish you need to visit Argentina and basic tips to learn a new language. Let me know if you are interested in that!
This (amazing) Ted Talk is about polyglots and language learning:
Do some exercise
Download an exercise app and do some workout! It's as easy as it sounds. You can keep moving even from your house, without any gym machine. I personally like Adidas Training and for running I love Nike Run Club. However, there's a bunch of other workout apps that you can check-out.
And finally, stay calm and positive. Enjoy the little things like a cup of good coffee or a loving hug. You would never enjoy the rainbow if you don’t pass thought the storm. We have to learn to dance in the rain and enjoy the time we have been given to think and prepare ourselves for what is next.
